AAA was created by Stephen Elias and his wife Catherine. Stephen has written numerous books for Nolo Press, including Nolo’s self-help bankruptcy books and The Foreclosure Survival Guide.

Stephen Elias passed away on December 29th 2011, leaving behind a huge legacy - as an advocate for people's rights, and as a self-help law pioneer.

The business is now being run by his son Rubin Elias, his wife Catherine Elias and bankruptcy attorney Mary Heare Amodio.
